Abstract:Decreased appetite is a common clinical problem in captive rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta). Mirtazapine, a tetracyclic antidepressant originally developed for humans, has shown promise as a safe and effective promoter of weight gain and appetite in several veterinary species
