Abstract:Volatile oils or essential oils are the secondary plant metabolites producing from different plant parts like flowers, leaves, fruits, seeds, stem, roots and their barks. These are chemically classified as terpenoids, which are hydrocarbons with a hydroxyl or carbonyl group.
