Pharmacological approach of plants traditionally used in treating hypertension in Morocco

Abstract: L'hypertension artérielle représente un problème majeur de santé publique. Selon l'Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS), plus de 20 % de la population mondiale souffre des anomalies de la pression artérielle. Les études pharmacologiques ont supporté l'usage traditionnel de nombreuses plantes médicinales utilisées dans la pharmacopée marocaine pour le traitement de l'hypertension.
