Abstract:Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a common interstitial lung disease (ILD) caused by environmental exposures, infections, or traumatic injuries and subsequent epithelial damage. Since IPF is a progressively fatal disease without remission, treatment is both urgent and necessary.
