Phase effects at stimulated Brillouin scattering

Abstract: In the study of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) in the constant intensity approximation, the spatial behavior of the intensity of the Stokes scattering wave in a medium was investigated. It was found that as a result of nonlinear interaction of waves, the period of spatial beats changes.
