Abstract:This work proposes a simple method for the copper oxide nanostructures based on simple heating method under ambient conditions. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is employed as a structure directing agent in driving the morphology and phase transformation. Typically, Copper oxide nanoparicles of size below 100 nm were synthesized at temperature around 600ºC. The morphology and mechanism were studied by scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. Interestingly this work demonstrates the struc… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
