Abstract:Abstract2‐Aminobenzothiazoles are widely used in the fields of pharmaceuticals and pesticides. Herein, we report a metal‐free protocol for the preparation of 2‐aminobenzothiazoles by a covalent organic framework (COF) catalyzed tandem reaction. In the presence of catalytic amount of phenanthroline‐decorated COF (Phen‐COF), a variety of 2‐aminobenzothiazoles are obtained in excellent yields by the cross‐coupling of 2‐iodoanilines with isothiocyanates at room temperature in water.
