“…In this work, it was found that for the case of relatively narrow range of alkyl chains, from C2 to C6, the length does not visibly affect the stability of the cation as much, resulting in electrochemical window range of 4.7-4.8 V which is in the same range of common commercial and lately reported novel based ILs with TFSI-anion (Table S1, SI).
