Abstract:The selective oxidation of n-butane to maleic anhydride over vanadium−phosphorus oxide catalysts is subject to a dynamic change in the catalyst activity. This phenomenon is called phosphorus dynamics and plays a vital role in the prediction of catalytic reaction rates, but to date, no models measured under transport limitation free conditions have been published. This study presents the first investigation of the phosphorus dynamics over extended periods of time (multiple days on stream) under transport limita… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
