Abstract:Data on the differential cross-sections for the emission of photo-protons fi-om beryllium irradiated with bremsstrahlung of various end-point energies up to a maximum of 600 MeV are presented and discussed. Particular attention has been paid to the photon energy-region around 150 MeV, where a dip in the total cross-sections for photon absorption has been reported. No evidence of anomalous structure is observed. The data are compared with the predictions of the intra-nuclear cascade model PICA. Good fits can be… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
