Photoacoustic measurement of localized optical dichroism in chiral crystals

Abstract: Measurement of optical dichroism in crystal powders has always been challenging. Here, the authors present a novel method to measure optical dichroism of chiral crystal suspensions under completely random orientation using the photoacoustic effect.
