“…We previously reported pure nickel ferrite (NiFe 2 O 4 ) as a heterogeneous photo-Fenton catalyst for the degradation of organic dyes in the presence of oxalic acid under UV light irradiation [33]. The material had almost no catalytic response to visible light although diffuse reflection measurements showed that the start point of the NiFe 2 O 4 spectrum occurs at 788 nm [34,35].
