“…Moreover, the final product of photocatalytic uranium extraction is mainly adsorbed on the surface of the catalyst, hence the type of product U species can be identified by various characterization methods, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) [ 29 ]. For instance, Chen et al [ 83 ] use TT-POR COF-Ni as a photocatalyst to remove uranium ( Figure 2 A). After photocatalytic reaction, the form of uranium was characterized by XPS, FT-IR, and PXRD.…”

“…Covalent organic frameworks (COFs), , as well-defined and predictable networks of building blocks linked by covalent bonds in a periodic arrangement, have drawn special attention from scientists, which have been widely employed in lots of cutting-edge fields including molecule separation, heterogeneous catalysis, energy storage, and optoelectronics. Although the immobilization of various metal catalysts on COFs for efficient catalysis under batch conditions has been reported, there are few examples of effective heterogeneous catalysis using COF materials as catalyst supports in continuous flow processes. Due to the superiority of accurate control over the frame structures and the types of functional groups to support the catalysts, we believe that the COFs with large specific surfaces also possess the potential to be used as packed bed fillers for efficient continuous catalysis.…”

“…For example, porphyrin covalent organic framework materials were constructed via an aldimine reaction with meso -substituted amino porphyrins and double-terminated aldehyde bridging groups. 18 The other mode involves employing different carriers to load porphyrins to form highly hybrid composites. 19–22 For instance, porphyrin derivatives containing different specific functional groups were loaded on metal oxides, biomass materials, and graphene materials as new porphyrin composite materials (Fig.…”
