Abstract:We measured the temperature dependence of the photocurrent in an organic Mott‐insulator β′‐(bis(ethylenedithio)‐tetrathiafulvalene)(7,7,8,8‐tetracyanoquinodimethane) (BEDT‐TTF)(TCNQ) crystal with applied bias voltage along the c‐ and b‐axis up to 12 V. A semiconductor laser with a wavelength of 405 nm was used as the light source. We observed that with increasing bias voltage, the temperature at which the photocurrent starts to flow decreases down to 16 K, near the antiferromagnetic (AF) transition temperature… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
