A low‐valent tungsten catalyzed carbonylative Sonogashira coupling reactions has been established. The present protocol utilizes inexpensive and readily available W(CO)6 as precatalyst and proceeds in the presence of atmospheric CO, providing a practical method to a series of functionalized alkynones and indoxyls compounds under mild reaction conditions. Moreover, the simple reaction system, good functional group tolerance and broad substrate scope enable the application of this transformation in the synthesis of functionalized carbonyl‐containing molecules.
