Photodynamic therapy applications of Re(I)‐BODIPY functionalized nanoparticles

Abstract: Organometallic Re(I)‐BODIPY compounds have recently received attention as metal‐based photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy (PDT) applications owing to their strong absorption in the visible region.
