“…Similar findings have already been described in previous studies and may be due to the fact that the lesions on the extremities are in general thicker and more keratotic, consequently leading to poorer penetration of the photosensitizing agent, which may subsequently result in a poorer response to therapy. 12,17,18,22,23 In the present report, most of the patients tolerated the method well and satisfaction rates were favorable to the use of the technique.
