Abstract:Photoelectrodes have attracted significant attention in green hydrogen production via water electrolysis. Among others, titanium oxide (TiO 2 ) is a representative photoelectrode for the conversion of solar energy in the ultravisible region into electrical and chemical energies. However, the poor solar adsorption of this material and the low anode reaction rate have limited the efficiency of hydrogen production via water electrolysis. In addition, there is an urgent need for more ecofriendly hydrogen productio… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
