“…Oxide-based phosphors were widely utilized in various optoelectronic and displaying devices due to their high thermal stability, chemical stability and excellent optical properties [1][2][3][4]. An unusual blue phosphor Sr 2 CeO 4 was first prepared using the combinatorial techniques by Danielson et al in 1998 [5].…”

“…The emission spectrum is dominated by 5 D 0 → 7 F 2 hypersensitive transition (Δ J02), which is because the Eu 3+ is located at a low symmetry local site in the M 2 V 2 O 7 (M 0 Sr, Ba) host lattice. Moreover, the splitting number of 5 D 0 → 7 F j transitions can provide information of the surroundings of the Eu 3+ ions [26,27], and the site symmetry of Eu 3+ ion with a maximum number of lines "2J+1" for each lattice site. Unique 5 D 0 → 7 F 0 (588 nm) transition indicates that the Eu 3+ ions occupy single sites in both Sr 2 V 2 O 7 and Sr 2 V 2 O 7 lattices.…”

“…5 Barium zirconate BaZrO 3 (BZO) serves as an excellent model for a wide range of ABO 3 perovskites which is relevant for numerous technological applications, such as high temperature material, electronic ceramics, non-linear optics, catalysis, superconductors, and so on. [6][7][8][9][10][11] The current state a)…”

“…[13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21] A more complete understanding of the optical properties for perovskite-based materials is a prerequisite to eventual technological application, which is a key role for defects/ impurities and other structural order-disorder effects. 7,22 Numerous efforts have been expended to understand the mechanism for optical emissions, particularly photoluminescence (PL) effects [23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30] where device performance is strongly influenced by the energy and lifetime of the excited states. Borja-Urby et al reported the photocatalytic activity for pure BZO and BZO bismuth doped.…”
