“…To some extent, the changes of the crystal orientation are equivalent to varying the incident angle of the EM waves, which may have significant influence on the photonic band diagrams. It was proven in previous studies that a blue shift of the photonic bands as well as a narrowed band gap is achieved when increasing the incident angle of the EM waves [42].
