Photonic modulation of epidermal growth factor receptor halts receptor activation and cancer cell migration

Abstract: Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) plays a key role in regulating cell survival, proliferation and migration, and its overexpression and activation has been correlated with cancer progression.
