Abstract:The reaction of two equivalents of N,N'-bis(2pyrrolylmethylidene)-1,2-phenylenediamine (H 2 bppda) with tetrabenzylzirconium provided the air-and moisture-stable eightcoordinate complex Zr(bppda) 2 . Temperature-dependent steadystate and time-resolved emission spectroscopy established weak photoluminescence (Φ PL = 0.4% at 293 K) by a combination of prompt fluorescence and thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) upon visible light excitation at and around room temperature. TADF emission is strongly que… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
