Abstract:The use of self-assembly of amphiphilic molecules or block copolymers is an interesting alternative to classical synthesis methods for elaborating original and complex architectures. Because of its rapidity, photoinitiated radical polymerization is widely used to fix transient self-assembled structures. This chapter presents the kinetics and structural aspects of the radical photopolymerization of surfactant micelles, surfactant vesicles and block copolymer self-assemblies. The possibility, or not, to achieve … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
