Photothermal excitation and Thomson impact in a semiconductor microelongated thermoelastic medium with microtemperatures in the gravity

Abstract: The heating of solids occurs due to the absorbed light from the heat source. Photothermal spectroscopy is a method of measuring the optical absorption and thermal properties of semiconductor materials using high‐sensitivity spectroscopic techniques. In the present paper, the harmonic solution as an analytical solution is provided to describe the semiconductor photothermal microelongated medium with microtemperatures in the gravity field. The proposed photothermal microelongated model is subjected to an induced… Show more

“…Sheoran et al [20] presented the reflection of plane waves at the free surface of an initially stressed rotating magneto-thermoelastic medium with diffusion and microtemperatures. Hilal [21] studied the thermodynamical interaction in a semiconducting microelongated medium with microtemperatures and gravity field. Sharma et al [22] examined the effect of magnetic field on a transversely isotropic nonlocal thermoelastic hollow sphere with voids in the context of dual-phase-lag model.…”
