This article addresses one of the most serious issues in electricity: frequency and voltage anomalies. Actually, because renewable energy production is intermittent, the frequency and voltage of electricity produced are unstable and dependent on weather conditions. This issue causes industrial processes to fail, affecting the quality of the electrical supply and having a massive economic impact. Power electronics inverters are designed to compensate for system fluctuations in solar power generation. However, measurement noise in the grid voltage desynchronizes the inverter and network signals. The authors propose using a phase-locked loop technique based on inverter period control and a network voltage observer to achieve such synchronization of grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems. In this work, the grid integration of the PV system is carried out through a three-phase three-level neutral point clamped inverter due to better current quality with fewer harmonics and lower stress voltage of the inverter's components when compared to two-level voltage source inverters. The method is successfully applied in a simulated case study and experimental results validate it.

During the COVID-19 pandemic since early 2020 in Indonesia, the demand for electrical energy in the housing sector has increased significantly. This is due to the government’s recommendation to reduce activities on the outside and work from home, specifically for educational and entertainment activities. Those are almost recommended to be done online. Many people complain about the increase in monthly electricity payments compared to before the pandemic. The construction of solar power plants in housing/solar home systems (SHS) will reduce the electricity consumption from the public grid. This SHS installation can be used to supply some household electricity needs, such as computers, televisions, internet facilities, lighting, et cetera. In this article, the researchers discuss the performance testing of SHS with a capacity of 300 Wp. It is installed in the house buildings accompanied by the design and measurement of solar energy potential.

<span>This paper presents an intelligent of single axis automatic adaptive photovoltaic solar module. A static solar panel has an issue of efficiency on shading effects, irradiance of sunlight absorbed, and less power generates. This aims to design an effective algorithm tracking system and a prototype automatic adaptive solar photovoltaic (PV) module connected through </span><span>internet of things (IoT). The system has successfully designated on solving efficiency optimization. A tracking system by using active method orientation and allows more power and energy are captured. The solar rotation angle facing aligned to the light-dependent resistor (LDR) voltage captured and high solar panel voltage measured by using Arduino microcontroller. Real-time data is collected from the dynamic solar panel, published on Node-Red webpage, and running interactive via android device. The system has significantly reduced time. Data captured by the solar panel then analyzed based on irradiance, voltage, current, power generated and efficiency. Successful results present a live data analytic platform with active tracking system that achieved larger power generated and efficiency of solar panel compared to a fixed mounted array. This research is significant that can help the user to monitor parameters collected by the solar panel thus able to increase 51.82% efficiency of the PV module.</span>
