Abstract:A phylogenetic analysis of heterotrophic bacterial populations inhabiting streams and groundwater contaminated by acid mine drainage (AMD) was conducted. The samples were collected from sites around an inactive underground Dae-Sung coal mine at Keumsan, Korea.
