Physical and mental recovery after conventional aortic valve surgery

Abstract: After conventional aortic valve surgery, the most pronounced recovery was seen in the first 6 weeks postoperatively. Physical quality of life and N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide required a prolonged time for a complete recovery.
