The article considers types of rotor systems oscillations in the process of turbine unit operation, caused by the influence of aerodynamic forces or change of operation modes. Torsional vibrations lead to the appearance of additional dynamic loads and stresses, which in turn reduce the reliability and cause emergency damage to elements of the turbomachine, so these vibrations are of greatest interest. In this article we propose the structural diagram of the autodyne converter on the Gann diode, which allows to estimate the characteristics of torsional oscillations of rotating elements of a turbomachine by the parameters of an output signal and the conclusion about necessity of studying influence of location of the transducer relative to the rotor rotation axis, and studying influence of parameters of the reflecting surface is made.
