Physical-Chemistry Study of a New Zr-Doped Babetio3 System

Abstract: A series of new type of lead-free ceramics Ba 0.095 Be 0.05 Ti 1-x Zr x O 3 (BBTZx) were prepared using the sol-gel method. X-ray diffraction results show that all powders crystallize in a perovskite-type phase, with the diffraction peaks of the BBTZ x powders shifting toward the smaller 2θ with increasing Zr content.
