Physical Geography and the Core Curriculum: One Department's Experience

Abstract: The core curriculum being re‐adopted by more and more colleges and universities has strong impact on physical geography. A case study at the University of Alabama provides insights into what these impacts may mean to enrollments and programs and how the impacts may be anticipated and turned into positive influences.
