Physical modeling of pipeline resonance in civil buildings

Abstract: The method of experimental determination of the magnitudes of pipelines resonant vibrations on small-sized physical models of 1:10 of actual size is shown. The measured values of the oscillation frequencies of pipe models with hinged and pinched supports on both sides are compared with their mathematical counterparts.
