“…The value of the effective moment is in good agreement with result obtained by Musil et al [10], where the paramagnetic behaviour of the compound has also revealed down to T ¼ 2 K. The effective moment obtained earlier by Pedziwiatr et al [11] for CeNi 4 Cu (m eff ¼ 0.13 m B ) is smaller than that in Refs. [4,10]. The above mentioned values of the effective magnetic moment are much lower in comparison with the free Ce 3þ ions value which is equal to 2.54 m B .…”
