Physicochemical Characterization of Chitosan/Poly-γ-Glutamic Acid Glass-like Materials

Abstract: This paper sets up a new route for producing non-covalently crosslinked bio-composites by blending poly-γ-glutamic acid (γ-PGA) of microbial origin and chitosan (CH) through poly-electrolyte complexation under specific experimental conditions.
