Physio‐Chemical Characteristics and Fatty Acid Composition of Milk Fat of Surti Buffaloes I: Effect of Dietary Condition and Stage of Lactation

Abstract: The effects of feeding concentrate mixture (21.3 % C. P.) and cotton seed (19.1 % C. P.) to four groups (each of three animals) of Surti buffaloes have been reported. Iodine value was higher for cotton seed fed group than that of concentrate mixture fed groups. Reverse trends were observed in case of R. M. value and P. value.
