“…Supplementation of 0.25%, 0.50% and 0.75% olive leaf powder in broilers' diet significantly elevated their BW and decreased the FCR compared with the control birds. Moreover, a recent study showed that the supplementation of 10 and 15 ml of olive leaf extract in the drinking water of heat‐stressed broiler chickens improved WG, final BW, FI and FCR compared to the unsupplemented group (Oke et al., 2017). These findings together suggest that the beneficial impacts of the olive leaf extract could be due to its well‐demonstrated antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory and antimicrobial activity.…”
