Abstract:The optimum long-term treatment for patellofemoral pain is uncertain, although current assessments and treatments emphasize physiological functioning and education above biological or tissue pathology. The 27-year-old man experienced patellofemoral pain for four years despite little physiotherapy management. Many doctors urged him to avoid excessive exertion, stopping him from enjoying sports.
