Phytoplankton of Karamik Lake (Afyon)turkey

Abstract: Phytoplankton of Karamık Lake consists of 175 species vvhich belong to Bacillariophyta, Chlorophyta, Chrysophyta, Cryptophyta, Cyanophyta, Dinophyta and liuglennphyta divisions. The fact that a great part of the lake is covered with rushes has inereased the number of the species of epipelic and epiphylic origin.
