Phytoseiid mites of Mayotte Island (Acari: Mesostigmata)

Abstract: Mayotte is one of the four main islands constituting Comoros Archipelago, with Anjouan, Mohéli and Grande Comore. Among them, it is the closest island to Madagascar. So far, only one species of the mite family Phytoseiidae (Acari: Mesostigmata) had been reported from this island in an early study.
