Phytotoxicity of spinach by cadmium in different textured soils amended with organic matter

Abstract: A green house lysimeter experiment was conducted to determine the toxicity and uptake of Cd by spinach in Silt loam, sandy loam and clay loam soils with and without organic matter. Three level of Cd was applied i.e 3, 10 and 50 mgKg -1 of soil , there was a control with each treatment. On maturity the crop was harvested. Then soil samples were taken for fractionation scheme.
