Abstract:Transverse (T)-tubules, the vast, tubulated domains of the muscle plasma membrane, are critical to maintain healthy skeletal and heart contractions. How the intricate T-tubule membranes are formed is not well understood, with challenges to systematically interrogate in muscle.
