Abstract:BACKGROUNDPigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS) is a rare benign disease, with an estimated prevalence of 1.8:1,000,000 people. It occurs by proliferation of the synovial membrane of the joints, bursae and tendinous sheaths, with pigmentation by hemosiderin deposits.
