Pinning Mechanism in Superconducting NbTi Alloys at High Magnetic Fields

Abstract: 321For the field dependence of the volume pinning force P ( H ) of superconducting NbTi alloys a positive curvature is found a t high magnetic fields. It is shown that the experimental P ( H ) curve can be described in the high-field range by a model of plastic deformations of the flux line lattic proposed by Schmucker, when line pinning is assumed.
