Pisolithus Albus, Newly Recorded From Pakistan

Abstract

Pisolithus albus, collected from two different provinces is reported as a new record from Pakistan based on morphological and molecular analyses. This taxon is identified by off-white basidiomata with round, echinulate basidiospores. Phylogenetically this taxon belongs to P. albus complex. Morphological description, illustrations and phylogenetic placement of the taxon is provided in this paper.
