Place uniformity and drift in the Suzhounese fricative and apical vowels

Abstract: Suzhounese exhibits an unusual place anteriority contrast between rounded and unrounded dorso-palatal high front vowels, postalveolar fricative vowels, and apico-alveolar apical vowels.
