Placement facilitators needed to monitor mentors

Abstract

Mentors certainly need support, particularly in busy areas such as outpatients (reflections May 25). But it needs to be realised that some nurses are simply not suited to the responsibility of mentoring, and many staff are too busy to provide good support to students.
