Abstract: Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP), which is usually benign, is an intractable disease characterized by recurrent papillomas (wart-like lesions). Although it most commonly involves the mucosal epithelial lining of the upper respiratory tract, on rare occasions, it can also involve lung parenchyma.
