Abstract: In this work, a new algorithm for the multiobjective optimization of low and medium voltage electrical grids and microgrids is proposed. The originally nonlinear planning model is linearized using the economic current density concept, and the errors from the linearization are corrected by means of comparisons with load flow calculations in an iterative routine.
