Experimental studies were carried out to establish the effect of the parameters of various components of an electronic accelerator with an IES cell and a POS on the values of the current and the power of the accelerated beam. The studies were focused on the choice of the parameter ratio for the discharge circuit of the inductive energy storage cell, geometric shape and material of the cathode, size of the anode-cathode gap and dielectric inserts. The established optimal set of the specified parameters made it possible to obtain a pulsed electron beam with a duration of 200 ns, a current of 30 kA and a power of 6 GW.
