“…Three of these were level 1b (120,127,128) and six were level 2b (99,109,112,(129)(130)(131). Among these prospective trials, the lowest dosages of imipramine associated with toxicity were 50-200 mg/day, which were associated with agitation, flushes, and insomnia (129).…”

“…Recent data suggest that the response to desmopressin might be related to nocturnal ADH secretion; children with the highest or lowest concentrations of ADH responded less well than children with an ‘average’ ADH secretion [16]. The efficacy of tricyclic antidepressants for enuresis has been reported [17] and seems to be dose‐related [18], but its mechanism of action remains unclear [19].…”

“…Although tricyclics and desmopressin are effective in reducing the number of wet nights while taking the drugs, most children relapse after stopping active treatment [3]. We used a low dose (0.8 mg/kg), but Fritz et al [20] evaluated plasma levels and efficacy of imipramine at four different doses: 1.0 mg/kg, 1.5 mg/kg, 2.0 mg/kg, and 2.5 mg/kg. They found that efficacy was moderately but significantly related to increasing dose.…”
