Abstract:Background: Autophagy is closely associated with the onset and progression of steroid-induced osteonecrosis of the femoral head (SIONFH). SQSTM1/p62 is an important indicator of autophagic activity. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of SQSTM1/p62 in the development of SIONFH.
